Please be patient, we are waiting for updates from Coach regarding serial number changes on new Coach products.
Coach bags over a year old will have an authenticity tag that has a style number and unique serial number. Wording is in all caps, and in English.
This identifier has been eliminated in new Coach bags.
This older Coach handbag is identified as a counterfeit by the authenticity tag, which lacks the style and serial number. Real Coach bags over a year old have a serial number.
The serial numbered tags are no longer used in new Coach bags.
Stitching on authentic Coach bags will never be crooked or uneven. Many fake Coach bags have areas where the stitching is crooked or a little off or uneven. This is one of the easiest ways to spot a fake Coach bag.
Genuine Coach dust bags are dark chocolate brown with a red drawstring. The bottom right of the dustbag will have the words "COACH EST.1941" in all caps and in white.
The signature "C" pattern will always be symmetrical on the bag and centered. Authentic bags will line up at the seams. Authentic Coach will always specifically place the C's in the same place on every bag that is the same model and number.
The signature "C" pattern is not centered and overlaps at the seams, an obvious indication of a fake Coach bag, along with its $27 internet price.
Misaligned (off center) Coach logos identify this Coach bad a fake. The shipment was seized by US Customs.
You will never find an authentic Coach bag with the branding overlapping on a center seam.
This is an obvious fake.
The counterfeit version lacks the interior compartment and has the incorrect leather tag.
