Reports have surfaced on counterfeit Oral-B brush heads including:

- Oral-B Precision Clean Tooth Brush Refills X 7 Count

- Oral-B Precision Clean Tooth Brush Refills Replacement Heads, 6ct

- Oral-B Precision Clean 3 Replacement Brush Heads

- Oral-B Flexisoft Replacement Toothbrush Heads

There are repeated consumer complaints that replacement brushes last approximately 3 to 4 weeks before the head of the brush detaches from the stem or the brush head was loose. Additionally, they do not fit on the power handle well and frequently fall off. They have sharp, not rounded, bristle ends.

The blue indicator will not fade on counterfeit Oral-B brushes after use. The blue indicator will fade on genuine Oral-B brushes indicating they need to be replaced.

The Oral-B logo can be scratched off with a dime on the fake brush. Authentic Real Oral B brushes use high quality paint which is very difficult to remove.

Consumer comparisons revealed the heads did not match Oral-B heads available from local retailers. Noted was poor quality printing and logos on the packaging.
