How to identify counterfeit UGG Australia Boots

UGG Australia: Boots

Product Image

Product Information:

The images below illustrate common features you can sometimes spot on counterfeit UGG products.

Keep in mind that it's very difficult to identify fake products on websites. Counterfeiters copy the UGG website, logos, product images and product descriptions to fool you.

If you aren't shopping on the official UGG website: http://www.uggaustralia.com/

or an authorized retailer, you are being fooled into buying fake product! When you buy from UGG directly, or an authorized retailer, you will receive a quality UGG product and warranty.

Ugg's new security feature has a "rolling optics" feature, a 3-D effect, so that when you turn the label it looks like the UGG logo is rolling over the background of the sun logos. These label stickers still have the sun logo reflective foil strip like the ones noted above, but since counterfeiters have figured out how replicate that feature, we are adding the new rolling optic for additional authentication.

Recommended Action:

Buy from UGG directly, or authorized UGG dealers.

If you purchased a counterfeit from an e-commerce website (including eBay, Amazon, AliExpress) keep the counterfeit product as proof for your dispute, the manufacturer or authorities. If returned, the seller will claim it is not counterfeit, or re-sell it to another unsuspecting consumer. Contact your credit-card company and dispute the charges -- you have the counterfeit product as proof. Leave negative "Counterfeit" feedback for the seller.

The forefoot or "vamp" of this counterfeit boot is sloped and not comfortable for the foot.

Counterfeits can easily hide this in online listings by using the manufacturer's stock (advertising) image. Insist on an actual photo.

Many counterfeits come in a hinge style box. Note the label art is different on the counterfeit box, and the box graphics are different.

Authentic UGG products will never arrive at your doorstep in a bag. The only time you will get an UGG shopping bag is at an UGG retail store.
